CHOICES for Parents is a statewide coalition of parents and professionals ensuring that children with hearing loss and their families receive the necessary resources, advocacy, information, services and support.  CHOICES for Parents is committed to providing unbiased information.  Chicago Hearing Society is proud to be a founding member of CHOICES for Parents.

Childhood is a time to learn and to explore.  For kids who are deaf and hard of hearing,   it can be a time of loneliness and confusion.  Chicago Hearing Society (CHS) Youth Program brings together young people who are deaf or hard of hearing. 

Chicago Hearing Society provides the Chicago area’s first and only victim assistance program tailored to meet the needs of people who are deaf or hard of hearing.  We serve people in Cook County and the collar counties. You are not alone.  We can help.

Chicago Hearing Society offers FREE tax preparation assistance annually to deaf and hard of hearing individuals through its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Chicago Hearing Society has provided this tax service for more than 30 years – longer than any other VITA site in the Chicago area.

Chicago Hearing Society provides the Chicago area’s first and only domestic violence program designed specifically for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. You are not alone.  We can help.
