Deaf Customers

The law requires businesses and agencies to make certain accommodations to provide deaf and hard of hearing people an equal opportunity to participate in and services offered to the public. CHS helps organizations employ qualified sign language interpreters, oral interpreters and relay interpreters. Real time captioning is also available.   Acting as link between deaf individuals who use sign language and hearing individuals who do not, Chicago Hearing Society helps deaf customers (as well as their friends and family) locate and employ qualified sign language interpreters and oral interpreters for a wide variety of events, including meetings, court proceedings, family events and more.
