Event: Sign Language Classes/Coffee Chat
Where: Barnes & Noble Cafe, 2621 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL
Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Description: We are offering FREE sign language classes at the Barnes & Noble in Juliet. We currently meet once a month. Our class is for all ages and we encourage families to bring their little ones too! We offer conversational sign for the adults and fun sign language games or activities for the kids. All dates subject to change and will be confirmed by email through registered attendees.
Cost: FREE

Date: Saturdays from January 20 - February 24, 2018
Event: Spanish Sign Language Classes in Spoken Spanish
Where: Chicago Police Station, 3420 W. 63rd St, Chicago, IL (in the Police Station Community Room)
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Description: These classes are for Spanish speaking parents of deaf and hard of hearing children who want to learn sign language.
Cost: Free

Event: Sign Language Class
Where: Oak Lawn, IL
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Description: Do you have a family member, friend, neighbor or a coworker who is Deaf? Are you intrigued by ASL? Do you want to gain a new skill or refresh your ASL skills? Beginner level ASL (American Sign Language) community class is now being offered and taught by a Deaf certified instructor. This 5-week class meets Wednesdays from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.

Event: Sign Language Classes - Level I & Level II
Where: Chicago Hearing Society, 1444 W. Willow St, Chicago, IL
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Description: Level I: 6 Week session to learn ASL provided by the premier Chicago agency dedicated to caring for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard-of-Hearing community. Covers Chapters 1- 12 of "A Basic Course" by Humphries, Padden and O'Rourke. Students should purchase the text. Level II: 6 Week session to learn ASL provided by the premier Chicago agency dedicated to caring for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard-of-Hearing community. Covers chapter 13- 22 of "A Basic Course" by Humphries, Padden and O'Rourke. Students should purchase the text. Instruction led by Elle Mendiola and Allison Friedman.
Cost: $75.00
