Financing Options for Hearing Aids

HealthiPlan

HealthiPlan is a simple way to pay for the hearing aids you need. Chicago Hearing Society makes this financing option available to our patients. HealthiPlan offers:

  • Payment plans for hearing aids that fit your budget.
  • Credit limits to get the hearing aids you need.
  • No down payment required; no prepayment penalties.
  • No annual fee, no hidden or application fees.

HealthiPlan is available to patients for amounts as low as $499 and as high as $11,500. Chicago Hearing Society staff will be happy to provide more information when you call for an appointment.

Flexible Spending Accounts

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is one of a number of tax-advantaged financial accounts that can be set up through your employer. An FSA allows an employee to set aside a portion of his or her earnings to pay for qualified expenses as established by your employer's benefit plan.

FSAs are most commonly used for medical expenses but may also be used for dependent care, transportation or other expenses. Money deducted from an employee's paycheck into an FSA is not subject to payroll taxes, which results in significant payroll tax savings.

Hearing aids are normally an eligible expense under the terms of most FSAs. Check with your employer's benefits department for details.
