Chicago Hearing Society no longer offers sign language classes. Below is a partial list of other organizations which offer classes in the Chicago area. Malcolm X College American Sign Language This course covers the basics of the ASL alphabet as well as basic salutations and responses, as well as common words and phrases. Classes meet for eight Thursdays beginning on Thursday, February 14th, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Malcolm X College 1900 W.
