American Sign Language Class

 

Progress Center for Independent Living is offering

6-week Basic and Intermediate

American Sign Language classes.

 

Basic American Sign Language (ASL):

Includes basic grammar, vocabulary, finger spelling,

Numbers, and cultural information on the Deaf Community.

 

Intermediate ASL:  Expanded

Vocabulary, advanced grammar and cultural awareness.

Prerequisite:  ASL1 (basic) or permission of instructor.

 

The classes will begin on Tuesday July 17th,

From 6pm to 8pm for six weeks

At Progress Center for Independent Living,

7521 Madison Street, Forest Park.

Each student must have a copy of “A Basic Course in Sign Language”.

$40 for the class only and will supply your own book

$70 for the class and textbook

 

We will accept cash, money order, or personal checks.
