Name of Event:  Family Roller-Skating Party

Where:  Main Street USA Roller Skating, 23 West Streamwood Blvd, Streamwood

Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Description of Benefits, Attractions:  IL Hands & Voices invites you to its first annual family rollerskating party.  Bring your children and enjoy a couple of hours with kids that are just like them, either a child with a hearing loss or a sibling of a child with a hearing loss.  Parents get to chat with one another and enjoy watching their kids have the time of their lives.

Description of Benefits, Attractions:  Bring your brown bag lunch and join us for games and socializing.  Drinks and dessert will be provided.  Wear red or pay a $1 fine.  If the weather is bad, we will cancel.

Name of Event:  Crazy Bowl sponsored by the Illini chapter of IL Association of the Deaf

Where:  Western Bowl, 917 Francis Drive, Champaign

Description of Benefits, Attractions:  Join us for a hot dog or taco dinner and social from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hays Center, 1311 West Church Street, Champaign.

Description of Benefits, Attractions:  Join Chicago Park District’s Chicago KIDS & Parents Club for an afternoon of Arctic fun.  For deaf and hard of hearing youth up to 14 years old, their siblings and parents.  Watch as amazing ice sculptures are created, enjoy music from the Old Town School of folk Music (with ASL interpreting), explore the island on snowshoes, see Siberian huskies, wolves, owls and other animals.  Admission Fee:  Free.  Parking available for $3, cash only.
