October 2009
Hi Scrapbook lovers out there...

Deaf Hands Scrapbooking, Inc. is hosting a day filled with fun of workshop events and crop event on Saturday October 3, 2009 at Holiday Inn hotel in Bolingbrook, IL from 8 am to 10 pm.

We originally planned to have an expo with exhibitors from scrapbook stores/businesses however due to rough economy this year, scrapbook stores and businesses are not doing well. We decided to put expo on hold and try again when our economy is back on its track.

So, what will we do if we do not have expo? Please do not fret! We decided to keep the event by providing fun filled workshops and crop event. Workshops will be an hour long making different fun projects. It will be from 9 am to 5 pm. Prices vary by workshop. Workshop schedule is up on our website. Please take a peek on our website for more information about workshop event. Our website is www.deafhandsscrapbooking.com

Crop event will be from 8 am to 10 pm for those who are interested in cropping all day. We also offer 1/2 day crop from 8 am to 2pm and 3pm to 10 pm. Crop event information is also up on our website.

We also will have children workshop. Children ages 3 to 11 can sign up and have a ball at the workshop making variety projects and socialize with other kids while their mothers scrap away. This is ideal for mothers who would like to have their children with them for the day or for those who are unable to find babysitters. Children will be supervised by adults in a room next to crop room at the hotel. For more information about children workshop is on our website.

To sign up for workshop or crop event, please go to our website at www.deafhandsscrapbooking.com and click on a link where you will be led to forms you can print, fill out and mail to Deaf Hands Scrapbooking, Inc. Deadline to sign up and pay for workshop and/or crop event is August 28, 2009.

If you have any questions, please email us at deafhandssb@gmail.com and we will gladly answer your question.

Please spread the words out there for those who do not have access to emails, computers or internet.

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you and/or seeing you at our event!
